Before you grab a pen and paper and contact every manufacturer under the sun,
consider the following:
1. Question which freebies are worth your time and the stamp.
2. You can (and should) get started on this as soon as possible. Work on your letter
and address envelopes before your babies arrive, but realize that many companies
won't send anything unless you provide copies of the birth certificates.
3. Companies may change their freebies and policies. You might get a "Dear Jane"
letter back saying, "Congratulations!" and that's it. Some are now moving toward
offering freebies to families of higher order multiples (triplets and more).
4. Don't expect to get anything of great value, like a free minivan.
Whether you are expecting twins or octuplets, diaper manufacturers are worth
contacting. When you get in touch with them, you will receive coupons and will be
on their mailing list for future promotions. Some companies to contact are:

send free samples in the mail. Yum!
Ask your pediatrician for Baby formula whenever you visit. Pediatricians often get
stockpiles of it from their formula reps and while the amount you get may not be
much relative to what you need, every bit will help! Don't forget to ask for samples of
over-the-counter medications as well.
